During October, the month of Cybercrime Awareness, CBTL (Center for Business Technology and Leadership) continued the implementation of the “Cyber Camp Tirana” project.
The facilities in which the CBTL team conducted the training are the electric technical school “Gjergji Canco” and “Junior Achievement of Armenia (JAA)”. The students were introduced to the basic concepts of crime and cyber security, focusing on phenomena that directly affect the students. The training involved a “manual” of solutions for some of the most critical security features, such as the choice for secure passwords, the effective use of firewalls and VPNs, the identification of suspicious elements in a phishing e-mail and awareness on Cyber Bullying in schools up to the impact of Cyber Terrorism in the world.
“Cyber Camp Tirana” continues its journey in November in universities and prepares for the Bootcamp (Training) phase preceding the Hackathon (Team Challenge).
For all interested parties, CBTL invites you to contact the [email protected] e-mail to find out more about how you can become part of the project.
